Qigong
Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that works by harmonizing the mind, body, and spirit through gentle movements and focused breathing. Practitioners engage in slow, rhythmic motions that are often synchronized with deep, controlled breaths. Practicing Qigong improves balance, coordination, and joint health, while cultivating inner peace and mental clarity. It’s moving philosophy, teaches us to meet life’s challenges with fluidity and strength. It also teaches us to inhabit our bodies with awareness, to move with purpose, and to listen to the subtle language of energy.
I have been practicing Qigong and Tai-Chi regularly since 2021. In my sessions I often integrate practices from these modalities. Shaking and tapping for example is an excellent way to awaken your body’s energy, clear stagnation, and restore natural flow. Shanking is a primal, energizing technique that helps discharge stress, trauma, and emotional stagnation. Tapping and shaking activates lymphatic flow, stimulates the vagus nerve, and resets the nervous system—leaving you feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded.

Fascia manoeuvres – Stretching
Fascia manoeuvres are a series of intentional movements that target the fascia together with breath to release tension held in the body. Fascia is the body’s connective tissue network that holds everything together. Connective tissue wraps around every muscle, organ, and bone, and it is coordinating movement, posture, and even stores emotional memory. Fascia is believed to be the body’s communication highway and here trauma, stress, and misalignment in the body are held. When the fascia is restricted, it affects everything—mobility, digestion, mood, and even sleep.
Gently stretching compresses and glide the tissue, encouraging it to return to its natural, fluid state. The result is often greater mobility, reduced pain, and a profound sense of ease. As a result, you feel lighter, taller, and more grounded. Fascia Manoeuvres helps you to reconnect with your body’s innate intelligence, allowing healing to unfold from the inside out. The movments are designed for every body type and no equipment or experience are required. Everyone can benefit from fascia manoeuvres and they can offer a gentle yet powerful reset to your system.
I will guide you through the Fascia Manoeuvres and help you learn to do them at home as part of your everyday practice and self-care.
Functional exercise
Functional training helps us do our every day activities with more strength, control, and ease. It focuses on bending, lifting, twisting, reaching, and stabilising. Instead of isolating muscles on machines in the gym, it engages multiple muscle groups in dynamic, compound movements. Think squats, lunges, pushes, pulls, and rotations—often performed with free weights, resistance bands, or just your own body. The goal is to improve coordination, balance, agility, and strength in ways that translate directly to your daily life. Functional exercises enhance joint stability, core strength, and neuromuscular control—reducing your risk of injury and improving your overall performance. It’s not just about looking fit—it’s about being fit for life.
